- Support self-advocates through training and opportunities to network – Project STIR, OSDA Conference, Sibling Conference.
- Maintain a relationship with OSDA by appointing an OAAS Board representative to attend monthly OSDA meetings and having an OSDA representative at OAAS monthly Board meetings.
- Develop self-determination orientation training materials for use by adult services programs in conjunction with OSDA.

- OAAS will serve as a communications clearinghouse for dissemination of information to member adult services providers through business practice express, Yahoo member group, membership surveys, OAAS Leader, conferences and training.
- OAAS will work in partnership with OASC and other stakeholders to promote best practice in the areas of supported employment and services for transitioning youth by promoting two one-day training sessions.
- Pro-actively recruit private day services providers to join OAAS in an effort to promote quality service delivery by all providers by conducting regional meetings and informational sessions at affiliated trade conferences.
- OAAS Administrator will improve communication with all members by attending at least one meeting of each region.
- OAAS will support the development of new and existing Adult Services Directors in their professional development through the OAAS mentoring program.
- Encourage productive communication and sharing of information between adult services providers and SSAs by surveying member needs and providing training, as needed.

- OAAS will institute a public policy committee for the purpose of responding to rule changes and other public policies that impact on adult services.
- OAAS will designate a Board representative to represent the membership on the Ohio Alliance of Work Centers, Statewide Behavior Support Committee, and other relevant working groups.
